I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day and are in a good groove as we say hello to the final quarter of 2019. 😮 Where did the time go?
Speaking of where did the time go... today marks the 18th anniversary of the terror attacks in the US. My heart goes out to anyone who lost a loved one that day.💔
I pray for our country’s unity and protection and for all those who risk and sacrifice in that honorable effort. 🙏🏻 🇺🇸
Thinking back, there was an eerie, unsettling energy that pervaded the city, anxiety-inducing newscasts talking of chemical attacks and dealing with building evacuations due to bomb threats...
To say the least, I was not in a good mental state and attempted to exercise the faith I thought I had in spades.
And I know you’ll get this, but through it all, I found comfort in my sidekick, Sammy. That kitty always made me feel better about everything. 🐱
As we remember 9/11, we’re also coming off the heels of another kind of disaster-Hurricane Dorian.
While NYC wasn’t affected, we’ve certainly had our share of natural and man-made disasters. Would you say that you’re prepared in case of an emergency?🚨
Planning for these things isn’t exactly fun, but it’s worth it when something strikes and you’re able to keep your family and fur family safe, quickly.
Again, I know this isn’t fun to think about, but it is necessary. If you’re interested in getting help with how to prepare your pets for a disaster let me know. I’m thinking about putting some educational resources together for clients.
Jeez, I’m looking at this email 📧 and hoping its not too much of a downer! 😔
If it bummed you out, quick! Open your photo app and scroll through cat pictures! 😸 That’ll do the trick.
